Jaffe was Formerly with Brand New School & Donlevy was Formerly with Prologue Films
goodness Mfg, the consumer brands marketing division of Trailer Park, has expanded the strength of its creative production by access to the talents of motion graphics legends Darren Jaffe (formerly with Brand New School) and Clarissa Donlevy (formerly with Prologue Films). Jaffe has joined Trailer Park as Director of Motion Graphics, while Donlevy has joined the company as its Creative Director, Motion Graphics. The announcement was made today by Rick Eiserman, CEO, Trailer Park, Inc.
Jaffe and Donlevy now head up the TP Motion Graphics Group, which serves all of Trailer Park’s divisions, and includes motion design services for brands, via goodness MFG, as well as for theatrical, TV, gaming, and other creative needs.
Tom Walker, Managing Director, goodness Mfg, said, “Having access to the considerable talents of Darren and Clarissa reinforces why the merger of goodness Mfg with Trailer Park is so relevant to the needs of our consumer brand clients today. goodness Mfg has long built its reputation on its team of brilliant creative thinkers, but, in the past, we had to go outside for production and implementation. Now through our relationship with Trailer Park, we have the opportunity to generate and share new concepts and ideas much earlier on in the process of developing breakthrough campaigns for our clients.”
Adds Paul Keister, goodness Mfg’s Executive Creative Director, “The work we’ve done with Brand New School over the years has always been ridiculously great. And now that Darren’s with us, we can get that level of thinking every day. Then, on top of that, Clarissa’s now a part of the team also, and she’s been nothing short of stellar from day one. We’ve already had the chance to collaborate on a few projects. I feel like a kid in a candy shop.”
About DARREN JAFFE, Director Of Motion Graphics
Prior to joining the company, Darren Jaffe had been Head of Production, since 2007, with Los Angeles-based Brand New School, one of the preeminent motion graphics and design studios in the industry.
A former teacher, Jaffe took a strange path to the entertainment industry. After six years as an educator, he shifted gears and began working within the world of Commercial Broadcast Design/Production. His goal was to help enlighten and educate artists, clients, and consumers.
In 2002, Jaffe became a Producer with Brand New School, and, a few years later, was promoted into the Head of Production role. Between managing multiple projects, clients and artists, Jaffe spent his spare time editing,
and animating. In conjunction with his colleagues, Jaffe helped to create innovative and ground breaking projects from pitch through to delivery, across
numerous formats, including print, live action, CG Animation, network branding, experiential, film titles, music videos, and others.
Jaffe said, “Finding a new technique, a new look, and a new method are the things that help create inspiring work. Those moments are what I seek, and I’ve been fortune enough to have accomplished this during work on my previous projects. I consider my move from being an educator to my post at Brand New School as a career success, and I am excited now about continued growth at Trailer Park.”
About CLARISSA DONLEVY, Creative Director, Motion Graphics
Before she joined the company, Clarissa Donlevy worked with Prologue Films, Los Angeles, since 2008. There, she led a team of Designers and Art Directors on such projects as opening title sequences, show packages, TV promos, trailers, media branding, commercials and ID’s for such clients as Warner Brothers, Universal Studios, Disney, TBWAChiatDay, ESPN, NBC, E! Entertainment, and HBO.
After completing her Honors Degree in Graphic Design in Sydney, Australia, Donlevy left that country to surround herself with art design culture in London. There, she began her career at renowned motion graphics agency
Lambie Nairn & Co, before moving onto in-house work for the BBC and ITV Networks as Senior Designer/Director.
While based in London, Donlevy conceived and directed all aspects of motion graphics, from live action to visual effects, overseeing projects to
completion with direction on high end post production at MPC. Working in
London also provided Donlevy with the opportunity to develop solid conceptual and narrative sensibilities, while concurrently honing her design skills and expanding her motion graphics vocabulary.
Returning to Australia in 2001, Donlevy next turned her focus to creating opening titles for film and television, earning awards and accolades from Promax/BDA, and sharing her passion by participating in public speaking events for the Australian Film Institute. Donlevy relocated to Los Angeles recently.

“Ǝvolution” Comes Full Circle At The Chelsea Film Festival
The Chelsea Film Festival, running from October 16th through October 20th, 2024, at Regal Cinemas here in Union Square, is set to host the East Coast premiere of Ǝvolution, a thought-provoking experimental micro-short film that proves big ideas can come in small packages and in perfect circles.
In just 1 minute 16 seconds, this cinematic gem by Award-Winning Director Romina Schwedler, with original music by Argentine Composer Ignacio Montoya Carlotto, explores a cycle as old as time: life leads to progress, progress leads to destruction, and destruction, well, leads back to life. But is this vicious circle unbreakable? Ǝvolution suggests the answer is yes, unless we decide to open our eyes.
Inspired by the overwhelming number of recent events that threaten human existence, Ǝvolution, possibly the shortest film in this 12th edition of the festival, plays out entirely through the symbolism of circles, cleverly illustrating —in the blink of an eye— the repeating patterns of history, and confronting viewers with the uncomfortable truth that our so-called “progress” may, in fact, be guiding us to our own ruin.Premiering at the Regal 14 Union Square, New York City, on October 18, 2024, at 11 a.m., Romina Schwedler's micro-short, featuring Leah Young with cinematography by Alan J. Carmona, will be sure to spark conversations longer than the film itself! Forcing viewers to reconsider the true meaning of evolution, not just as a biological process, but as a reflection of our collective journey as humans.
With a string of festival appearances across the globe, including CineGlobe at CERN (Switzerland/France), Oscar®... Read More
