Production and design studio The Department of The 4th Dimension (<a href="http://www.thed4d.com.>The D4D) today announced the addition of director Eric Stoltz to the company’s roster.
Well known for his work as an actor in film, television and on stage, including Pulp Fiction, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Will and Grace, and Our Town, Stoltz has had considerable success in the director’s chair. He has helmed some of television’s most popular shows including Glee, Grey’s Anatomy, Nip/Tuck and Boston Legal, after an Emmy nomination for his directorial debut, the Showtime film, My Horrible Year.
“It’s no secret advertising and marketing content with entertainment value has become essential to engaging and motivating audiences —whether it’s TV spots or content for the web—so providing our agency partners and their clients with a collaborative, comedy-dialogue director like Eric is very exciting,” said D4D Executive Producer, Ron Cicero, “He is in the middle of helping to create some of pop culture’s most influential shows right now and we are thrilled to have him.”
Mr. Stoltz found the diversity of work and <a href="http://www.thed4d.com.>The D4D‘s focus on storytelling compelling, adding, “I’m always looking forward to telling stories with actors in new and different ways and the work <a href="http://www.thed4d.com.>The D4D has done has inspired me to venture into brand-inspired content—both commercials and longer format projects.”
