<a href="www.gianninicreative.com.>Giannini Creative, one of the advertising industry’s leading providers of creative retouching, CGI/3D art and pre-media services, has opened a production studio in Dallas.
In Dallas, <a href="www.gianninicreative.com.>Giannini Creative will operate from the same facility as its creative partners, the broadcast post production facility Filmworkers, and the design and animation studio Vitamin. The three companies are aiming to replicate the success they have enjoyed in Chicago where they have pooled resources to provide advertising agencies with packaged creative services for broadcast, interactive and print media. The companies have coined a name for their combined service offering: Trilogy of Talent.
“With the changing creative landscape we had to be innovative and offer a multi platform solution,” said Kevin O’Connell, executive producer of <a href="www.gianninicreative.com.>Giannini Creative, Chicago. “We make it possible for agencies to consolidate media production for print, interactive and broadcast with one creative services provider, resulting in cost savings and improved creative continuity across all media platforms.”
O’Connell noted that <a href="www.gianninicreative.com.>Giannini Creative, Filmworkers and Vitamin have collaborated on a number of cross-platform projects for Chicago clients that involved re-purposing print assets for broadcast and online media.
<a href="www.gianninicreative.com.>Giannini Creative, Dallas, will be led by Steven Hays, who joins the company as executive producer. Hays brings more than 20 years of experience in the advertising industry and most recently served as general manager at Schawk, Dallas, a specialist in graphics and pre-media. Hays will be supported by a team of local artists and will also be able to tap talent from the company’s headquarters in Chicago.
O’Connell said that Hays is the ideal choice to head the Dallas office due to his experience and deep ties to the area’s creative community. “Steve was born in Austin and knows the market like few others,”stated O’Connell. He added that Dallas was a natural choice for expansion because of the many top agencies and brands based there. The Dallas office has already completed projects for Mary Kay Cosmetics and The Container Store, as well as Dallas ad agency Publicis.
Hays joined Schawk in 2000. He previously served as sales manager at American Color, Dallas. His background also includes senior management posts with Graphic Service, Buchanan Printing and Wallace Digital Imaging. He began his career with Continental Graphics. He has worked on projects for such brands as BMW, Jim Beam, Dr. Pepper Snapple, Samsung, Quaker, Nestles, Denny’s, Power Bar, TGI Friday’s, Zales, Southwest Airlines, Texas Monthly and Texas Highways Magazines.
Hays said that the combination of <a href="www.gianninicreative.com.>Giannini Creative, Filmworkers and Vitamin is a “right creative fit” for the dynamics of the advertising industry. “It’s a perfect blend of talent,” he said. “It allows us to deliver consistent branding experiences across all media.”
Founded in 2000, <a href="www.gianninicreative.com.>Giannini Creative has attracted a national clientele that includes ad agencies in every major market in the country and delivered award-winning work for such brands as Harley Davidson, Oakley, Porsche, Altoids, Jim Beam, Proctor & Gamble, McDonald’s and Allstate.
