German agencies have captured four of the 10 Best of Show awards in the 2011 <a href="www.mobiusawards.com.>Mobius Awards international competition. German agencies received 13 nominations โ six of them from kempertrautmann gmbh, which took two of the top honors. Filmakademie Baden Württemberg/Ludwigsburg and Publicis Frankfurt each received one Best of Show. Other top awards went to entrants from Australia, France, Spain, Portugal, Singapore and the United States.
kempertrautmann gmbh won Best of Show in Integrated Campaigns for “Germany Will Find You,” a campaign promoting the search for missing children. The client was Initiative Vermisste Kinder, Hamburg. kempertrautmann’s Best of Show in Logo/Trademark for “A Sound Logo โ Inspired by Hamburg,” was done for Hamburg Philharmoniker.
Winning Best of Show in New Media was Filmakademie, for its “Dirt Devil – Exorcist” work for Dirt Devil/Royal Appliance International GmbH Neuss, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.
Publicis Frankfurt received Best of Show in Outdoor for “Egg Machine,” a promotion for ethical egg farming done for client Noah Menschen fur Tiere e.V. Bonn, Germany.
OgilvyOne, Melbourne, Australia, took top honors in Direct for its copywriting in “Sally’s First Show,” done for The Arts Center, Melbourne.
Online Best of Show went to “Borgia,” a promotion created by BETC Euro RSCG, Paris for CANAL+, Paris.
Design firm Sidecar, Logrono, Spain, took top honors in Package Design with its presentation of label and bottle designs for Siete Pecados (Seven Deadly Sins).
Best of Show-Print went to “Mugshot 1: Albertina,” “Mugshot 2: Carlos,” “Mugshot 3: Manuel” from Fuel, Euro RSCG Lisboa, Portugal, for client Amnesty International.
Lowe Singapore took the Best of Show award in Radio for its “Awesome Light” spot for Samroc Paint & Hardware, Singapore.
Best of Show-Television was won by Euro RSCG, New York for “Torturer,” to raise awareness of how some regular detergents can damage clothing. The work was done for Reckitt-Benckiser, Parsippany, New Jersey, maker of Woolite.
