The New Dierctors Showcase Reel will make it's debut on Thursday, May 26th at the SHOOT New Directors Showcase Event at the DGA in NYC. The Road to Emmy Part 1 Kick-off Feature
Part 1 of this year's 15-part "Road To Emmy" series which each week will look at talent behind the season's leading Emmy contenders, spanning showrunners, producers, creators, directors, DPs, editors, composers, production designers, VFX artisans and the like. We'll delve into assorted categories including Comedy Series, Drama Series, Miniseries, Telefilms, Documentaries, Music/Variety and Reality TV.

► Mike Cahill, director, who directed the first two episodes of "The Path," discusses working with Hulu, the delicate balance required by the dramatic series' storyline, and his additional duties as the exec producer of the debut episode.
► Yaron Orback, cinematographer, whose credits include 11 episodes in season two of “Orange is the New Black,” reflects on lensing the first season of Hulu’s “The Path,” for which he shot all 10 episodes.
► Nelson Cragg, cinematographer, discusses lensing FX’s “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.” Cragg’s filmography includes the “Beirut Is Back” episode of “Homeland” which in 2013 landed him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series.
►Jeff Russo, composer, sheds light on scoring the latest season of FX’s “Fargo.” Russo earned an Emmy nomination for his work on “The Crocodile’s Dilemma,” an episode from season one of “Fargo.”
