Award-winning FILMLOOK MEDIA & POST, which is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this month, is collaborating with Award-winning music artist and Sufi visionary Imran Raza and his Sufi music sister projects – Sonic Ashtanga and Sirens of Dionysus to co-produce a new music franchise library “Awakening of Dionysus,” a collection of music, music videos, docu-series, and short films it was announced today by founders Robert A. Faber and Anna M. Cordova.
“Awakening of Dionysus,” refers to the Greek Mythological God who harvests and liberates the Soul, and under this banner these creative works will explore the awakening of consciousness to a new generation and the ground swell of the humanitarian movement as it gains momentum.
The first project to be produced under “Awakening of Dionysus,” label will be the music video “RISE !!!” Imran Raza has worked with three-time Grammy Award-winning producer Anton Pukshansky (Santana’s “Supernatural”, Korn, Ozamatli’s “Street Signs”) since 2007, creating music for the project featuring legendary musicians from both South Asia and the West including Sanam Marvi, Mekaal Hasan, Slash and Matt Sorum of Guns N’ Roses, members of Jane’s Addiction, Quiet Riot, Ozamatli and many more. “RISE !!!” features Raza’s music project Sirens of Dionysus and is directed by World renowned fashion photographer Ash Gupta, whose work regularly appears in Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ and Elle is making his directorial debut.
Currently a huge sensation in Asia – Sufi rock is a new genre in music emerging which combines the mystical eastern music with the western iconic rock sound with Imran Raza at the forefront. His popularity gained momentum and spread across the Asian continent when his singles "Fly with Us," "The Bombs of Dhamma," and most notably “Hammarah Ghar” (Our Home) played hourly on MTV Asia and on other music stations condemning the Taliban and gaining the support of the Pakistani government.
Raza’s projects won two Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) for the single “Be Like the Onion” in the World category with Sonic Ashtanga; and “Warm Soft Winter Moon” which won the Dub Step Award and Recognition in the Planet & Environment Award with Sirens of Dionysus. Sirens of Dionysus, whose name personifies the image of “Smashing Ego into Ecstasy,” other single “Get in the Game” was nominated in the Alternative Rock category.

FILMLOOK MEDIA & POST has most recently completed post with Blane Baggett (“The Great War and the Shaping of the 20th Century”) on his latest documentary, “The Stuff of Dreams” which chronicles the engineers at JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratories) during the late ‘70s/early ‘80s of the Voyager 1 & Voyager 2 missions.
In addition, FILMLOOK’s production arm – C2 Entertainment – under the leadership of Filmlook co-founder, president Anna Cordova is packaging and developing the TV animated show “Captain Daddy,” with creator Huston Huddleston and show runner Mitch Schauer (“Garfield and Friends,” “The Smurfs”). C2 is also collaborating on a number of projects with long time filmmaker client Nadia Tass (“Malcolm”) including “Feather,” a femme-fatale action film.
Ms. Cordova started her career at Loral EOS as manager of operations, where she met her future business partner before they went on to launch FILMLOOK Inc. Cordova continues to run day-to-day operations and oversee client relations and is a member of Women In Film, American Film Institute, and NAPW (National Association of Professional Women).
Mr. Faber is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The Hollywood Post Alliance, and a lifetime member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.
