Director Fede Ponce has been signed by the Bangers and Mash agency, London and Berlin, for worldwide representation. The agency will represent Ponce for feature films, television and branded entertainment, as well as the packaging of a number of  feature, television and VOD projects  which are currently in development.
Ponce brings a wealth of background to his work having begun his career in motion graphics, visual effects and trailer design. His trailer work included such superhero franchise films as “Thor, the Dark World,” “Iron Man: 1,2 and 3,” and main title concepts for “The Avengers” franchise. Ponce has experience directing video game cinematics as well as commercial work.
Because of his experience and strong relationships with vfx companies he is able to transcend the digital field and integrate his work with practical effects houses. Dallas Harvey, with Vancouver FX, is currently providing “top notch” practical effects for “Sebastian's Odyssey.”
Ponce is in development on two projects, the first “Sebastian's Odyssey,” a high-concept sci-fi series for streaming services. “Sebastian's Odyssey” is set in a peaceful future where unmonitored dreaming is punishable by death. It focuses on a rebellious orphan who must enter the dream world in order to find  his long lost brother. The second project is “Mexico Lindo,” a horror-comedy feature film for the Hispanic market.
“I have been immersed in mythology since I was a young boy,” said Ponce. “My passion for storytelling stems from the belief that metaphor and narrative hold the key to understanding deeper human connections and, most importantly, one's own life.”
Ponce is currently using his design and storytelling skills consulting for the Experience Design Team in charge of designing the future at BMW design works in California.
