Encore, a Deluxe® Entertainment Services Group company, announced today its expansion into New York, a move that builds on its long established West Coast network of post production facilities for television, including Encore in Hollywood and sister facility Level 3 in Burbank, California.
Encore‘s New York location is based out of Deluxe‘s state-of-the art facility and offers the same high-caliber, cutting-edge television post and visual effects (VFX) work that Encore in Hollywood is synonymous with. Deluxe New York’s existing TV offering has rolled-up under the Encore name to better unify the television offering.
"Having a location in New York and working as a unified group is especially exciting for all of us at Encore," says Bill Romeo, Senior Vice President of Television for Deluxe. “The New York facility has a talented team in place and collectively we provide the most robust post production and visual effects offering for television in the industry."
Encore in Hollywood boasts a top-level VFX division whose credits include such major shows as Fox’s House and ABC’s Castle. Encore‘s New York-based visual effects group makes use of a highly skilled pool of local artists and cutting-edge technology to provide the same high caliber visual effects work in New York.
Romeo concludes, "With television production in New York growing at a compelling rate, the timing is perfect for our move here. New York TV productions now have easy access to Encore-quality services with the ability to make use of local tax incentives."
Current Encore, New York credits include HBO’s Treme, and CBS’s Blue Bloods and upcoming NYC 22.
