Terry King, Owner STS-GRIOT, is pleased to announce that Editor Sarah Fisher has been named partner.
Fisher began her career as an assistant editor for GTN/Ringside Creative, where she quickly ascended the ranks. Prior to her post at STS-GRIOT, She most recently served as a creative editor for Pluto Post in Birmingham, Michigan. Before Fisher arrived at STS-GRIOT she worked in both the large post house environment, and the smaller “boutique” type shop. “I think working in both environments gives You a very well rounded perspective of the business. Going from a very large company with a dedicated engineering department to one where We had to solve technical problems on our own was one of the best things to ever happen to me. I became much more technical, and self sufficient in a number of areas.”
King continued, “Sarah’s technical knowledge of both the evolving production and post production process along with her incredible creative instincts, make her the perfect partner to help move the company forward. Sarah will be instrumental in building STS-GRIOT relationships both locally and nationally.”
Since joining STS-GRIOT almost two years ago a lot has changed. “At the time I came over, We were still partnered with a larger post-production facility, and there were a lot of things that needed to be changed, processes, workflows, and equipment. As we separated and went back to being our own entity, there was the perfect opportunity to marry the ideas that Terry and I both shared of what we envisioned for the company going forward. “Sarah has been an integral part of what STS-GRIOT has become,” King states. “She has been pivotal in the implementation of the STS-GRIOT brand and culture that exists today”
Fisher continued, “The group We have here is one of the best I have had the pleasure of being surrounded with. I am very excited about the future of STS-GRIOT and I’m truly humbled by the opportunity that Terry has given Me. I’m very much looking forward to the challenges the future holds.”
Fisher has recently completed projects for GM Global, Chevrolet, Chrysler, and the U.S. Navy

“Ǝvolution” Comes Full Circle At The Chelsea Film Festival
The Chelsea Film Festival, running from October 16th through October 20th, 2024, at Regal Cinemas here in Union Square, is set to host the East Coast premiere of Ǝvolution, a thought-provoking experimental micro-short film that proves big ideas can come in small packages and in perfect circles.
In just 1 minute 16 seconds, this cinematic gem by Award-Winning Director Romina Schwedler, with original music by Argentine Composer Ignacio Montoya Carlotto, explores a cycle as old as time: life leads to progress, progress leads to destruction, and destruction, well, leads back to life. But is this vicious circle unbreakable? Ǝvolution suggests the answer is yes, unless we decide to open our eyes.
Inspired by the overwhelming number of recent events that threaten human existence, Ǝvolution, possibly the shortest film in this 12th edition of the festival, plays out entirely through the symbolism of circles, cleverly illustrating —in the blink of an eye— the repeating patterns of history, and confronting viewers with the uncomfortable truth that our so-called “progress” may, in fact, be guiding us to our own ruin.Premiering at the Regal 14 Union Square, New York City, on October 18, 2024, at 11 a.m., Romina Schwedler's micro-short, featuring Leah Young with cinematography by Alan J. Carmona, will be sure to spark conversations longer than the film itself! Forcing viewers to reconsider the true meaning of evolution, not just as a biological process, but as a reflection of our collective journey as humans.
With a string of festival appearances across the globe, including CineGlobe at CERN (Switzerland/France), Oscar®... Read More
