DV Expo today announced that their 12th annual conference and trade show, being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from November 4 โ 6, will feature an extensive free program of seminars, special events and networking opportunities, open to all event attendees. Produced by NewBay Media, DV Expo is the west coast’s longest-running event committed to providing education, training, and community connection to creative digital video professionals.
At the heart of DV Expo’s free program are special keynotes, educational classes, and screenings being held on the show floor. The schedule includes the following sessions:

— Lighting Master Classes โ Leading directors of photography guide the classes through specific lighting scenarios.
— AVCCAM Classroom โ Videographer Bernie Mitchell, president of Silver Platter Productions, gives the audience a look at AVCCAM, Panasonic’s professional, solid-state AVCHD offering. The session details next-generation, affordable HD acquisition through a file-based workflow.
