The Directors Network (TDN) is now representing Directors Don Rase (Comedy/Dialogue – Visual Storytelling – Kids) and Steve Petersen (Live – Action/VFX) to the Freelance world. Both have years of experience and proven track records within the industry.
Don Rase formally of Backyard Productions has directed spots for Bud Light, McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Amoco, AT&T, Toyota and Samsung. Don’s specialty is in working with comic dialog, visual storytelling and child actors. He creates a great rapport with actors and his collaborative directing style and extensive production background make him a consistent choice with a wide range of clients.
Recently Don completed a Winn Dixie spot for Eichoff and a Kyocera spot for Seiter and Miller.
For the past ten years Steve Petersen has worked in Los Angeles as a live-action director, creative director, and broadcast designer at Big Machine Design. He has worked with many advertising agencies, movie studios and every major broadcast network and won numerous Promax Gold Awards for his live-action work in the broadcast promo industry.
Steve’s most recent projects include ‘Speedy Arrow’ for the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and a TV show for Current TV. He’s incredibly well versed in shooting all types of HD (RED, Alexa, Phantom) and he has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to shooting on DSLR’s. Most notably he shot 3D using two of the most popular 3D rigs on projects over the last year and harnessing the technical limitations and strengths of the ever growing 3D-TV medium.
“Both of these talented directors are poised for great things in the coming months,” said Jeff Lewis, president/agent, The Directors Network.
