The fun, lighthearted campaign, helmed by up and coming director Kiran, features two spots, one focused on a group of kids post trick-or-treating and comparing their candy “loot,” and the other on a mom discussing her daughter’s future career ambitions in the most tenderhearted way. The campaign tag encourages people to truly “Own Halloween.”
GO Intellectual Capital, an innovator in business growth services partnered with HalloweenCostumes.com, a sub-brand of Fun.com based in Mankato, MN for the Halloween television campaign. HalloweenCostumes.com is a leading online retailer for costumes and Halloween related accessories. This is their first venture into television advertising.
The objectives of the campaign were to increase brand awareness and drive additional traffic to HalloweenCostumes.com during the Halloween season. Cut down versions of the spots also support digital advertising efforts that HalloweenCostumes.com has traditionally utilized. The campaign has a heavy rotation on cable networks through the month of October in 19 key US markets.
