On the heels of its domination at the 2012 OC ADDY® Awards, DGWB Advertising & Communications (www.dgwb.com) has taken its tally of accolades a notch higher by reaching a national level.
DGWB, Orange County’s largest independent marketing communications agency, took home a National Silver 2012 ADDY Award in the Poster Campaign category for its work for longtime client Wienerschnitzel. Awarded national recognition was DGWB’s exclusive 2011 Wiener Nationals poster campaign, a series of three vintage, carnival-styled posters crafted to promote Wienerschnitzel’s 16th annual dachshund race held at Los Alamitos Race Course.
The ADDY Awards is the world’s largest advertising competition, built to represent the spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types.
“Achieving this level of recognition after our fantastic showing at the OC ADDY Awards further cements DGWB as a full-service advertising and communications firm that competes on both a regional and national level,” said Jon Gothold, DGWB executive creative director and partner. “The creative elements our team brought to this work reflected a vintage, carnival style that really brought the spirit of this unique event to life.”
DGWB’s winning poster campaign touted “The Biggest Littlest Race in History” theme and was part of a DGWB-helmed, comprehensive event campaign that included a web site, promotional video and themed T-shirts.
DGWB went into the National ADDYs having won 32 honors during the 2012 OC ADDY Awards, handed out March 20 by the OC Ad Federation, formerly known as the OC Ad Club.
