Director Timothy Woodward, Jr's, New Film is Repped for International Sales by Cardinal XD

The newest film from director Timothy Woodward, Jr., "Decommissioned," makes its debut during AFM 2014 (November 6-12.) Production on the film just wrapped this week in Los Angeles. British actor Vinnie Jones stars in "Decommissioned," a film about a retired FBI agent whose life is turned upside down when he discovers he's the patsy for an impending CIA planned presidential assassination. Jones portrays Agent Michael Price, the handler of retired agent John Niles (Johnny Messner) who ends up in a race against the clock to save his family and the leader of the free world.

About VINNIE JONES
Vinnie Jones made his 1998 feature film debut in Guy Ritchie's "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," and later starred in Ritchie's next blockbuster, "Snatch," as Bullet-Tooth Tony. He became known to American audiences in the 2000 film remake of "Gone in 60 Seconds," where he played "the Sphinx." Jones went back to his football days to play Danny Meehan in "Mean Machine," a 2001 British take on the Burt Reynolds' film "The Longest Yard." He played another football role, Mad Maynard, the leader of a Manchester United football team, in the 2004 film "EuroTrip."
Jones' next big piece was in the 2006 hit "X-Men: The Last Stand," in which he played the mutant, Juggernaut. In 2007, he played the part of McStarley in "The Condemned," a depraved former British SAS commando who was purchased along with nine other killers awaiting the death penalty to fight for their lives on an island. In 2012, Jones voiced "Freddie The Dog" in "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted," and the next year co-starred alongside Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the action/thriller "Escape Plan."

"Decommissioned" lead actor Johnny Messner is known for his roles in the combat action/thriller "Tears of the Sun" (2003) where he starred opposite Bruce Willis; his role as bad-guy Tommy 'Tombs' Perello in the stylistic crime/thriller "Running Scared" (2006) opposite Paul Walker, and for his role in "Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid" (2004).
Most recently, Messner starred opposite Denzel Washington in the intense action/thriller "The Equalizer" (2014,) based on the 1980's TV series of the same name. "Decommissioned" is Messner's second film with actor/director Timothy Woodward Jr., his first being the supernatural action/thriller "Checkmate," opposite Vinnie Jones and Danny Glover.

James Remar is an intense character player who first gained recognition in 1979 for his roles as Ajax in the blockbuster "The Warriors." That same year he garnered acclaim on Broadway with Richard Gere in the concentration camp drama "Bent."
