Rob Liefeld, the creator of comic book characters Deadpool, Domino, and Cable, will speak at the Biola Media Conference on April 29, 2017, at Fox Studios. Liefeld recently announced that his much-anticipated graphic novel “Deadpool: Bad Blood” will release on May 17, 2017, which introduces the new and highly anticipated character of Thumper along with many others new characters in the series.
“The Biola Media Conference was an incredible experience,” said film and television producer, DeVon Franklin, a keynote speaker at the conference in 2013. “It was truly an honor to be able to share the power of building a thriving career in Hollywood, without compromising your faith.”
At Biola University's Biola Media Conference — the largest national event for Christians working in the entertainment industry — Liefeld will share his remarkable journey, how his faith has played an active role in his career and new projects he is working on.
Liefeld’s career began at a young age when both Marvel and DC Comics hired him out of high school. After 25 years in the industry, Liefeld’s comic book creations, such as Deadpool and Cable, have expanded into multimedia platforms including cartoons, video games and motion pictures. He has become known as the “future of the comics industry."
His most popular comic books are Deadpool, Cable, Domino, X-Force, and Youngblood. Liefeld is currently working with film producers Akiva Goldsman and Graham King following a recent movie deal for his Extreme Studios comic characters.

We’ve booked amazing talent to help you understand how to navigate these new waters.”
