Led by the outstanding awards performance of “Moldy Whopper” for Burger King, DAVID Miami landed the top agency position in the world in The One Show 2020 Global Creative Rankings, revealed today by The One Club for Creativity.
“Based on results of this year’s largest global awards program, The One Show 2020 Global Rankings are the definitive measure for global creative excellence,” said Kevin Swanepoel, CEO, The One Club for Creativity.
He added: “In a year when global awards like Cannes and others decided to cancel their shows, we were driven to uphold our nonprofit mission to support the creative community and elevate the best work in the world. The industry will use this ranking as the global measure for creative excellence, as decided by a jury of more than 200 industry leaders.”
The One Show 2020 Global Creative Rankings are determined by the cumulative point totals of Pencils and Merits won. Rankings can be sorted by agency, client/brand, in-house agency, network, holding company, creative, highest ranking work, country and region.

A total of 19,688 pieces from 71 countries were entered into The One Show 2020. This year’s jury upheld the show’s long-standing high standards as one of the industry’s most difficult honors to win, awarding just 552 Pencils: 171 Golds, 169 Silver and 213 Bronze.
The One Club awards shows each have their distinct focus. The One Show judges focus on creativity of ideas and quality of execution, while juries for the ADC Annual Awards, now entering its 100th year, maintain their long-running concentration as the champion for craft, design and innovation.

2024 AICP Awards Tour Concludes with Stops in Dallas and Chicago
The 2024 AICP Awards Tour concludes with stops in Dallas and Chicago this month as it wraps up its tour of cities across the U.S. The National Tour brought presentations, panels and screenings to marketers, advertising agencies, production and post production companies. The AICP Awards will be in Dallas on Thursday, November 14th, at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, followed by the Chicago event, set for Thursday, November 21st at The Old Post Office. Tickets are available now for both events at www.aicp.com. In Dallas, the program kicks off at 6:45 pm with a happy hour, followed by the screening and panel discussion at 7:30. The evening ends with a networking reception from 8:30 to 11:30. The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is located at 2201 N. Field Street in Dallas. Appearing in Dallas will be Abe Garcia, Chief Creative Officer, Dieste; Julia Melle, Director of Brand and Content, Southwest Airlines; and Isaac Pagรกn Muรฑoz, VP, Executive Creative Director of PepsiCo Foods. The panel will review selected winners from the suite of the AICP Awards programs, offering insights into what made them rise to the top of their respective categories and share their viewpoints on key trends in the industry. The Chicago stop starts at 6:00pm with a happy hour, followed by the presentation and screening at 7:00pm. A reception caps the event, starting at 8:00pm and concluding at 11:30pm.
