The Seattle office of Creature (www.welcometocreature.com), an independent global creative ad agency, continues to expand its strength and talent by creating three new positions: Director of Digital, Director of Production and ACD/Art Director. Dave Mckeague will assume the Director of Digital Strategy role; Mark Jahnke has been brought on as Director of Production; and Pam Fujimoto has been appointed ACD/Art Director. In the past six months alone, Creature has been on a steady hiring streak with over 20 new employees joining the agency.
Dave Mckeague Director of Digital Strategy, formerly of Cole & Weber United
Mckeague will provide digital strategy and insights, directional tactics and senior level oversight for all things cultivating in the virtual world on behalf of Creature and its clients. He will be working with a wide variety of Creature’s clients, including Hotmail, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Pacifico, well as new business. Most recently, he was Director of User Experience at Cole & Weber United where he provided clients with business and branding strategy, graphic design and digital painting to magnify user experience. Mckeague has received many awards for his work, including Webby, ADDY, Mixx, and Andy.
Mark Jahnke Director of Production, formerly of Draftfcb
As the Director of Production, Jahnke will supervise and produce work through his departments, which include Production, Project Management and EPRO team members. Jahnke brings 20 years of experience working in commercial printing, graphic design, online and offline advertising to this senior level position. Most recently, he spent five years as Production Services Manager at Draftfcb where he supervised online/offline marketing projects for HP, Washington Tourism, Providence Everett Medical Center, Nautilus, HIV Vaccine Trials Unit and Mercy Corps. Jahnke shares his creative passion by inspiring students as a teacher at the School of Visual Concepts-Seattle.
Pam Fujimoto ACD/Art Director, formerly of TBWA Chiat/Day
Fujimoto will be at the forefront of the creative team to help develop the agency’s creative product for clients. She will work with clients such as Umpqua Bank, GoToMyPC and Seattle’s Best Coffee, among others. Most recently, she spent two years as ACD/Art Director at TBWA Chiat/Day in New York, where she worked on campaigns for Absolut Vodka, Alaska Airlines, Seattle Supersonics and The Seattle International Film Festival. Fujimoto has won awards at Cannes, D&AD, The One Show and the Andy Awards.
