Colorist Kent Pritchett applied the final grade to Paperman, this year’s Academy Award®-winner for Best Animated Short. Pritchett, who is now Lead Colorist at Colorflow, a full-service post-production facility located in Berkeley, worked with Director John Kahrs to apply the final look to the film, which tells the story of lonely young man in mid-century New York. The film earlier won an Annie Award for Best Animated Short Subject. The film was produced by Disney Feature Animation.
Pritchett has considerable experience with animated films. His credits include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Prep & Landing 2, and Tangled Ever After, as well as several animated television series and shorts. At Colorflow, he is focused on independent films with recent credits including Heatstroke, a new suspense thriller from Bold Films, producers of Drive, and Born this Way, a documentary from directors Shaun Kadlec and Deb Tullmann that debuted at this year’s Berlin Film Festival.
