charlieuniformtango, Dallas’ full service commercial production and post-production facility, regularly invites junior and senior art students from Dallas Arts District neighbor Booker T. Washington (BTW) High School for the Performing and Visual Arts to refresh the company’s centerpiece chalkboard with new artwork.
“We’re delighted to help encourage the talent of our young Dallas Arts District neighbors by showcasing their work on the large chalkboard that’s a focal point in our offices,” said David Slack, charlieuniformtango Graphic Artist. “We’ve been featuring the artwork of BTW outstanding National Honor Arts Students for years now. The scope of the project includes the students coming up with their own theme and concept, and we always look forward to seeing what they do!”
“This ongoing project is a great opportunity for our students to create artwork for the real world,” said Krystal Read-Segner, BTW Visual Arts Instructor. “The kids love doing it, and we love the practical experience–and showcase–it gives them.”
