The 2013 AAF-Dallas ADDY Awards were held Wednesday, February 20 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
charlieuniformtango senior editor Jack Waldrip brought home “Best of Show” in the Public Service Integrated Campaign category for his work with TM Advertising client Best Friends Animal Society. The winning team included Mary Alice Butler, Ryan Beals, Courtney Pulver, Chris Bettin, Pamela Coatti, Bill Oakley, Hal Dantzler, Stephanie Murdoch, Frank Todaro, Hum, and James Helms.
The winning team also won two Gold ADDYs in the Public Service – Broadcast/Electronic/Digital – TV category for the Best Friends Animal Society spots: “Afraid of That” and “Afternoon Stroll” Best Friends Animal Society runs the nation’s largest sanctuary for abused and abandoned animals in Kanab, Utah. www.bestfriends.org
Jack Waldrip also won a Bronze ADDY for Moroch client McDonald’s for “Fish Finder.” The team included David Soames, Gavin James, Kevin Sutton, Bob Shallcross, Matt Smukler and Kathleen Torres.
Liberal Media Films director Jeremy Bartel won six ADDY Awards. A Gold ADDY for TM Advertising/AAF Dallas “ADDY’s The Critique.” The team included charlietango editor Travis Aitken, Ryan Beals, Courtney Pulver, Bernard Park, Shep Kellam, Bill Oakley, Stephanie Murdoch, Clint Martin, and South Music. Bartel directed three additional spots for the TM Advertising/AAF Dallas ADDY’s campaign that brought home Silver ADDY Awards.
charlietango editor James Rayburn also struck Gold with TM Advertising Captain D’s campaign. The team included Chris Cima, Marc Mintle, Chris Bettin, Jason Niebaum, Billl Oakley, Hal Dantzler, Benji Weinstein, and Breed.
Texas Health Resources “How Bob Found Out” also won a Silver for charlietango. The winning team included Bob Pirrmann, Leigh Sander, Stefany Strah, Carley King, and Kenny Herzog. charlieuniformtango also brought home two additional Bronze ADDY Awards.
