The Cavalry Productions has retained Saxon+Partners to handle West Coast sales representation for the rapidly expanding company. The announcement was made by Executive Producers Ross Grogan and Chris Wedding. The company has expanded their directorial offerings, recently adding Gil Green, Bryce Gubler and Woodhead to the company.
"Chris and I are excited to have Saxon+Partners as part of the team," says Grogan. "In an industry built on reputation, finding someone to represent The Cavalry Productions, who share the same level of integrity and drive, is paramount. "Five minutes into our meeting, I knew Mary (principal at Saxon+Partners) understood how fast our industry is evolving and how traditional rep models are falling by the wayside. As we expand our sales presence, it was important to us that our reps understand the trajectory of both commercial and new media. Saxon + Partners sees the future, but with an understanding that it's still about building friendships and professional relationships through producing great content.
The recent signing of Woodhead by The Cavalry Productions piqued Saxon's interest in representing the company. "We had been tracking Woodhead's amazing internet success through skits like "Favre Rise" and "Get The Guys", both garnering over one million views. Then we reviewed the rest of the roster, which was equally as talented."
"The top brass (EPs, Wedding, Grogan and Director of Operations Leah Carnahan) has an impressive pedigree and clear vision of where the ad industry is going," says Saxon. "It's evidenced by their formidable foundations in both commercials and digital work. Their focus on creative solutions and consumer engagement aligns with how Saxon + Partners has continued to evolve, correctly positioning ourselves in a changing marketplace."
