The event, presented by Matt Lauer of NBC’s Today Show, hosted a sold-out and star-studded audience that was inspired by the greatness of the honorees, whose work has benefitted the lives of individuals and communities around the world.

Ebeling shared the stage with fellow Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards recipients, including former NFL star, social justice activist, and actor Jim Brown; Academy Award®-winning actress Susan Sarandon; musician, poet, and activist Common; and six young adults age 30-and-under recognized for demonstrating one of Muhammad's Six Core Principles: Confidence, Conviction, Dedication, Giving, Respect, and Spirituality.

Not Impossible’s latest endeavor, Project Daniel: 3D Printing Prosthetic Arms for Children of War-torn Sudan, is the subject of Intel’s latest “Look Inside” campaign created with Venables Bell & Partners. Inspired by, and accomplished with 16-year-old Daniel Omar (a double-amputee who fed himself for the first time in two years as the result of the project), Ebeling went to Sudan to 3D-print and fit prosthetic limbs for children of the war-torn region, then left the equipment behind with locals he’d trained who continued after he left, thus establishing the world’s first 3D-printing prosthetic lab and training facility. Mick also created the Eyewriter: a DIY, open-source, low-cost device that enables individuals with paralysis to communicate and create art using only the movement of their eyes.

Not Impossible’s mantra of “Technology for the Sake of Humanity” has resonated with juries worldwide, earning Mick Ebeling, The Ebeling Group, and the Not Impossible team a host of awards, including the prized Titanium Cannes Lion, along with 3 Bronze Lions (Branded Content, Film and Cyber), and 1 Gold (Product Design.) Prior to Cannes 2014, Project Daniel garnered prizes including AICP’s Next Cause Marketing Award, and the work being entered into the permanent film archives at New York’s Museum of Modern Art; the 2014 One Show Gold Pencil in both Design and Intellectual Property & Products (as well as being tied for “Best in Show”); the 2014 Silver Telly and Bronze Telly Award; and the 2014 Maker Faire Editor’s Choice Blue Ribbon for creativity, ingenuity and innovation.

To date, Project Daniel has earned over a staggering 800 unique million media impressions and counting. In January 2015, Simon and Schuster will publish Ebeling’s debut authorship, Not Impossible: The Art and Joy of Doing What Couldn't Be Done, in conjunction with a full-length documentary feature film. Dr. Deepak Chopra says of the book, “This is the template for a new science of consciousness. Mick Ebeling sees impossible just as a word for something not yet done. Read his book. Think like him. Then do the impossible.”
