Campos Creative Works (CCW,) one of the world’s top producers of business to business and experiential marketing events, has announced the completion of two high profile events, and the awarding of two new ones. Julio Campos, founder/Creative Director of CCW, made the announcement.
CCW has just completed their second annual production of American Suzuki Motor Corp.’s National Dealer Meeting, and their fourth annual high profile sponsorship activation for Lexus in conjunction with the U.S. Open of Tennis. In addition, CCW has also recently been awarded new projects from Harley Davidson and Volvo Trucks North America. Details appear below:
ABOUT CCW’S AMERICAN SUZUKI DEALER MEETING:
CCW has just completed the creative and production responsibilities for American Suzuki Motor Corporation’s 2008 National Dealer Meeting, themed “Small World, Big Opportunity,” marking the second time CCW has produced this meeting. The event, which was held at the Lila Cockrell Theatre in San Antonio, TX (9/15-16) hosted over 800 attendees. During the event, Suzuki introduced two new vehicles: a 2009 Equator Pickup Truck and a 2009 Grand Vitara (compact SUV.) Additionally, the company also revealed a sneak preview prototype of a mid-sized Suzuki sedan, slated for release during Fall 2009.
According to Mr. Campos, the CCW-produced creative and staging for the Suzuki event was designed to be professional, engaging and compelling. The idea behind the executive presentations was that they shouldn’t be glitzy or extravagant. Instead, the focus of these presentations was on content. CCW developed executive messaging and speaker support on-screen, all of which the company also designed and executed. CCW’s emphasis was to enable Suzuki executives to deliver credible and straightforward honesty of message, assuring dealers that a strategic plan was in place, especially in light of the current economic downturn.
Gene Brown, Vice President, Marketing, American Suzuki Motor Corp., said, “CCW did a terrific job of accommodating a lot of last minute decisions on our end. They put on a meeting with the right tone, professional and not ‘over the top,’ considering the state of today’s business marketplace.”
ABOUT CCW’S LEXUS/U.S. OPEN PROJECT:
CCW just completed its fourth consecutive logistical project for client Lexus, in conjunction with their ongoing sponsorship of the U.S. Open of Tennis. For this project, CCW provided and managed the “surprise and delight” aspect of Lexus Owner Parking, VIP Player and Executive Transportation, Vehicle Fleet Management, luxury giveaways, and sponsorship production support.
ABOUT CCW’S HARLEY DAVIDSON PROJECT:
CCW has been awarded its first project from Harley Davidson, working with client Steve Piehl, Director, Consumer Event Marketing, for H-D. CCW will create and produce “Muscle,” a written “how to” marketing guidebook, including text and images, which Harley Davidson will distribute to 10 selected dealers across the U.S. Harley Davidson is currently targeting affluent, more ethnically diverse males, 30-45, as a new demographic group, with these potential customers viewing H-D products as “sexy” and “alluring.” These potential customers, noted for their sense of style and sophistication, aka “James Bond” or the “Ocean’s Eleven” crew, will be invited to high profile, exciting local events.
The CCW produced “Muscle” guidebook will specifically detail how H-D dealers can develop and implement promotional marketing events in their cities, targeting this new demographic group. CCW will also follow up with these dealers to accumulate event metrics, after these various events have taken place.
ABOUT CCW’S RELATIONSHIP WITH VOLVO TRUCKS NORTH AMERICA:
For the third consecutive time, Campos Creative Works will be producing the high-profile Volvo Trucks North America Conference. Entitled “Driving Success,” this event will take place during August 2009 in San Francisco, and will demonstrate Volvo’s new clean-air diesel technology.
For the Volvo 2009 conference, CCW will design an event which will reaffirm Volvo’s industry leadership. The event will include presentations of the company’s themes of safety, fuel economy, driver comfort and ergonomics.
Said Dusty Miller, Manager, Marketing Programs at Volvo Trucks, “Volvo Trucks awarded CCW the business for the third time due to their outstanding ability to deliver key product messages in a creative, memorable format. There are many production companies out there that have the technical expertise to produce the ‘glitz and glamour,’ but that isn’t really the differentiating factor for our business, and doesn’t apply to the real world that our dealers and sales managers work in. CCW sees beyond the technical presentation and works to produce a memorable experience that will drive key messages to the audience, leaving a lasting impression. CCW has proven time and again that they are flexible and can deliver seamless meetings on time, even under the pressure of constant changes, in the ever changing corporate world.”
