Brad Roth and Mark Feldstein, principals of Stun Creative, an award winning advertising agency and production company based in Los Angeles, have announced the launch of “Buster INK” as a new print, outdoor and digital division of Buster. Concurrently, Roth and Feldstein have announced that Michael Vamosy, most recently SVP, Design, with FOX Broadcasting, will lead the “Buster INK” team, reporting to Jonas Morganstein, Buster’s Chief Creative Officer.
In addition to building their new print division, Vamosy will also be acting as an Executive Creative Director for Buster on various motion graphics projects. Buster INK’s first print project, the launch campaign for “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” on Current TV, just went public.
“Michael Vamosy is one of the most respected, award winning and creative design executives in our business,” Roth and Feldstein said. “His remarkable work with both the FOX Network and FX were widely admired and extremely successful in delivering audiences. Just look at his ‘hit list’ of TV print and outdoor campaigns, renowned for their design and creativity, which include those for ‘House,’ ‘American Idol,’ ‘Glee,’ ’24,’ ‘Fringe’, ‘The Shield,’ ‘Rescue Me,’ ‘Nip/Tuck’, and so many others. These are a testament to his diverse skill-set and creativity. We’re thrilled that Michael has joined Buster to spearhead our new unit, which will encompass all forms of print design – including outdoor, digital, packaging and advertising.”
Adds Morganstein, “We developed a shorthand with Michael Vamosy while he was on the network side – collaborating on graphic packages as varied as ‘American Idol,’ ‘Terra Nova’ and ‘Always Sunny In Philadelphia.’ The Buster team always appreciated Michael’s ability to focus network feedback toward a coherent strategy that allows great creative to thrive. With Michael joining the team, we can now confidently offer print design at the highest level of quality that our clients already expect from Buster’s on-air design. In fact, beyond putting his
stamp on Buster INK, Michael has been working closely with me on many of our on-air graphics packages. It’s the best of both worlds on the projects in which we produce both the on-air and the print deliverables – working hand-in-hand as an integrated campaign with a unified vision.”
Vamosy said, “Stun and Buster have been such great partners over the years — I have always been impressed by their dedication to the highest level of creativity. I am very pleased to have joined such a talented and hard-working group. I look forward to collaborating with them and their clients, while offering my perspective and executing cohesive campaigns on air, in print and online. For me, it’s all about doing what you love to do and being in a place that supports innovation, passion, and kicking ass.”
