The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), an offshoot of the Broadcast Film Critics Association, today announced nominations for the 2nd annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards. Winners will be announced on the evening of Monday, June 18th, at a gala awards dinner at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. nnNBC was the most nominated broadcast network with 14 nominations followed closely by ABC with 13 and FOX with 12. HBO led nominations for cable networks with 12, followed by AMC and FX with 11 nominations each. NBC’s Community was the most nominated series with six. nn”We are very excited by these nominations, reflecting the amazing diversity and creativity that is exploding on the small screen today,” said Joey Berlin, acting president of BTJA. “In every genre, audiences are witnessing a New Golden Age where imagination knows no bounds, from mass appeal entertainment to quirky originals where one person’s unique vision can delight a more limited audience. As television journalists, we’re proud to offer our choices of the best that we see day in and day out, and we look forward to celebrating television’s best on June 18th.” nnNominees for the 2nd annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards include:nnBest Drama SeriesnnBreaking Bad โ AMCnDownton Abbey โ PBSnGame of Thrones โ HBOnThe Good Wife โ CBSnHomeland โ ShowtimenMad Men โ AMCnnBest Actor in a Drama SeriesnnBryan Cranston โ Breaking Bad โ AMCnKelsey Grammer โ Boss โ StarznJon Hamm โ Mad Men – AMCnCharlie Hunnam โ Sons of Anarchy โ FXnDamian Lewis โ Homeland โ ShowtimenTimothy Olyphant โ Justified โ FXnnBest Actress in a Drama SeriesnnClaire Danes โ Homeland โ ShowtimenMichelle Dockery โ Downton Abbey – PBSnJulianna Margulies โ The Good Wife โ CBSnElisabeth Moss โ Mad Men โ AMCnEmmy Rossum โ Shameless โ ShowtimenKatey Sagal โ Sons of Anarchy โ FXnnBest Supporting Actor in a Drama SeriesnnPeter Dinklage โ Game of Thrones โ HBOnGiancarlo Esposito โ Breaking Bad โ AMCnNeal McDonough โ Justified โ FXnJohn Noble โ Fringe โ FOXnAaron Paul โ Breaking Bad – AMCnJohn Slattery โ Mad Men โ AMCnnBest Supporting Actress in a Drama SeriesnnChristine Baranski โ The Good Wife โ CBSnAnna Gunn โ Breaking Bad – AMCnChristina Hendricks โ Mad Men โ AMCnRegina King โ Southland – TNTnKelly Macdonald โ Boardwalk Empire โ HBOnMaggie Siff โ Sons of Anarchy โ FXnnBest Guest Performer in a Drama SeriesnnDylan Baker โ Damages โ DirecTVnJere Burns โ Justified โ FXnLoretta Devine โ Grey’s Anatomy โ ABCnLucy Liu โ Southland โ TNTnCarrie Preston โ The Good Wife โ CBSnChloe Webb โ Shameless โ Showtimen nBest Reality SeriesnnAnthony Bourdain: No Reservations โ Travel ChannelnHoarders โ A&EnSister Wives โ TLCnKitchen Nightmares โ FOXnPawn Stars โ HistorynUndercover Boss โ CBSnnBest Reality Series โ CompetitionnnThe Pitch โ AMCnShark Tank โ ABCnSo You Think You Can Dance โ FOXnThe Voice โ NBCnChopped โ FOODnThe Amazing Race – CBSnnBest Reality Show HostnnTom Bergeron โ Dancing with the Stars โ ABCnNick Cannon โ America’s Got Talent – NBCnCat Deeley โ So You Think You Can Dance โ FOXnPhil Keoghan โ The Amazing Race – CBSnRuPaul โ RuPaul’s Drag Race – LogonnBest Talk ShownnConan – TBSnThe Daily Show with Jon Stewart โ Comedy CentralnLate Night with Jimmy Fallon – NBCnJimmy Kimmel Live! โ ABCnThe View – ABCnnBest Comedy SeriesnnThe Big Bang Theory โ CBSnCommunity โ NBCnGirls โ HBOnModern Family โ ABCnNew Girl โ FOXnParks and Recreation โ NBCn nBest Actor in a Comedy SeriesnnDon Cheadle โ House of Lies โ ShowtimenLouis C.K. โ Louie โ FXnLarry David โ Curb Your Enthusiasm โ HBOnGarret Dillahunt โ Raising Hope โ FOXnJoel McHale โ Community โ NBCnJim Parsons โ The Big Bang Theory โ CBSnnBest Actress in a Comedy SeriesnnZooey Deschanel โ New Girl โ FOXnLena Dunham โ Girls โ HBOnJulia Louis-Dreyfus โ Veep – HBOnMartha Plimpton โ Raising Hope โ FOXnAmy Poehler โ Parks and Recreation โ NBCnAshley Rickards โ Awkward โ MTVnnBest Supporting Actor in a Comedy SeriesnnTy Burrell โ Modern Family โ ABCnMax Greenfield โ New Girl โ FOXnNick Offerman โ Parks and Recreation โ NBCnDanny Pudi โ Community โ NBCnJim Rash โ Community โ NBCnDamon Wayans Jr. โ Happy Endings โ ABCnnBest Supporting Actress in a ComedynnJulie Bowen โ Modern Family โ ABCnAlison Brie โ Community โ NBCnCheryl Hines โ Suburgatory โ ABCnGillian Jacobs โ Community โ NBCnEden Sher โ The Middle โ ABCnCasey Wilson โ Happy Endings โ ABCnnBest Guest Performer in a Comedy SeriesnnBecky Ann Baker โ Girls โ HBOnBobby Cannavale โ Modern Family โ ABCnKathryn Hahn โ Parks and Recreation โ NBCnJustin Long โ New Girl โ FOXnPaul Rudd โ Parks and Recreation โ NBCnPeter Scolari โ Girls โ HBOnnBest Animated SeriesnnArcher โ FXnAdventure Time โ Cartoon NetworknBob’s Burgers โ FOXnFamily Guy โ FOXnStar Wars: The Clone Wars โ Cartoon NetworknnBest Movie/MiniseriesnnAmerican Horror Story โ FXnLuther โ BBC AmericanSherlock โ PBSnPage Eight โ PBSnThe Hour โ BBC AmericanGame Change โ HBOnnBest Actor in a Movie/MiniseriesnnBenedict Cumberbatch โ Sherlock โ PBSnBill Nighy โ Page Eight โ PBSnWoody Harrelson โ Game Change โ HBOnIdris Elba โ Luther โ BBC AmericanDominic West โ The Hour โ BBC AmericanKevin Costner โ Hatfields & McCoys โ HistorynnBest Actress in a Movie/MiniseriesnnJessica Lange โ American Horror Story โ FXnGillian Anderson – Great Expectations โ PBSnJulianne Moore โ Game Change โ HBOnPatricia Clarkson โ Five โ LifetimenLara Pulver โ Sherlock โ PBSnEmily Watson โ Appropriate Adult โ SundancennSubmissions are still being accepted for The Most Exciting New Series category.nnThe Critics’ Choice Television Awards honors programs and performances that aired between June 1, 2011 and May 31, 2012.
