2017 is off to a great start for industry veterans Alex Blum and Andrea Ruskin, who recently launched Blum Consulting Partners, a consulting firm helping brands define how they work with creative partners. The new venture helps brands manage a rapidly evolving advertising production ecosystem by offering a roadmap for navigating business transformation, addressing the latest trends in process and technology, and facilitating integration across platforms. BCP will deliver improved production process to promote creative excellence as well as optimize current creative relationships and provide recommendations for experimenting with new creative partners.
"Brands, agencies, and content creators are all looking for better ways to work with each other", claims Blum. "We provide the 360° perspective that allows them to do it effectively, which is a really exciting space to be in right now."
Blum and Ruskin are no strangers to marketing challenges. The partners have spent the last several years at Advertising Production Resources working with Fortune 500 companies supporting innovation and client initiatives.
“There is so much change in the industry with new business models, new platforms and media types pushing clients to be more integrated or bring creative services in-house. The time is just right for a consultancy that focuses on facilitating the communication and collaboration between all partners,” said Ruskin. “I am excited to be a part of the new consulting model,” she added.
Blum’s work in the advertising business spans several decades of producing award-winning work as a production company co-owner of Headquarters, as well as a short stint at Lintas, Paris. Blum also produced 2 feature films with then directing partner John Moore while the two were under a first-look deal with 20th Century Fox (Behind Enemy Lines, 2001 and Flight of the Phoenix, 2004).
BCP is based in Los Angeles with resources in San Francisco, NY, Chicago, and London. For more information, please visit Blum Consulting Partners.
