<a href="http://www.blingimaging.com.“>Bling Imaging, a creator of visual effects for film and broadcast, announced today that they have completed work on a short film titled “El Ojo Único” for Flip Films. Directed by Adrian Castagna, the piece has placed at the Festival de Cannes in the Short Film Corner.
<a href="http://www.blingimaging.com.“>Bling Imaging developed unique effects for 26 shots, including matte painting, multi-shot composites, set extensions, and holographic animation. The team developed the illusion of a giant endless corridor, put together a massive number of elements to create a matte painting of a dark and moody futuristic Buenos Aires, assembled multi-shot composites of a motorcycle to give the appearance it dangerously missed a collision with a bus and automobile, composited “terrorists” into the close-up of an eye of a female captive, generated 23 photoreal apartment interiors for viewing from exterior shots, animated effects to give the appearance of talking holograms, and inserted screen replacements, corner-pins, and general clean-up.
Stationed behind Stage 2 in Smashbox Studio’s West Hollywood location, Bling offers post production services using Autodesk Flame HD, Toxik 2008, and Maya 2008.
