<a href="www.b-reelfilms.com.>B-Reel Films, in collaboration with <a href="www.b-reel.com.>B-Reel, announced today the formation of a new office in L.A. To helm B-Reel Films’ operations there and in New York, the company tapped Susan Rued Anderson as Executive Producer.
Relocating to L.A. from Stockholm, B-Reel co-founder/Executive Producer Pelle Nilsson will oversee the operations in L.A. for both B-Reel and B-Reel Films. Nilsson has been a key player in helping cement B-Reel’s position as one of the top digital production companies in the world.
Most recently Executive Producer at The Sweet Shop, where she played an integral role in building that company’s brand in the U.S., Rued Anderson will leverage her deep global production expertise as she expands B-Reel Films’ directorial roster and hybrid production capabilities.
With offices in New York City, Los Angeles, London and Stockholm, B-Reel Films is an international film production company specializing in the production of commercials, feature films and music videos. In collaboration with <a href="www.b-reel.com.>B-Reel, B-Reel Films offers agencies an innovative ‘hybrid’ production model that provides higher quality production values in both live action and digital advertising campaigns across a variety of platforms.
B-Reel CEO Anders Wahlquist comments, “With our new presence in Los Angeles, we are demonstrating our commitment to offering the best global client services for film, digital and integrated productions. We brought on Susan based on her international experience in commercial film and branded content production, and proven success leading creative teams. For B-Reel Films this is a ‘strategic hire’ as we continue to provide high-end client service and support from our offices in New York, Stockholm, London and now Los Angeles. We are thrilled to have Susan on board, and of course to bring Pelle to the Golden State!”
Via a merger with St. Paul Film, B-Reel Films was launched mid-2009 as a traditional production house and in recognition of the advertising industry’s need for high production values in digital/interactive campaigns. Some of the B-Reel Films’ most recent high profile projects include the “Perrier Mansion” starring Dita Von Teese, award-winning hybrid work for Axe 100 girls, Hotel626 and Asylum626, this Fall’s upcoming feature films “Bad Faith,” and “Trust Me,” and “Betsafe” – a TV commercial shortlisted in the 2010 Cannes Lions.
B-Reel Films is also in the midst of an extremely unique interactive/live action campaign for a major automotive manufacturer, to go live/air later this month.
B-Reel Films’ roster of directors covers a span of filmmaking including feature films and TV commercials. Rued Anderson states, “B-Reel Films’ directors are unique in their capabilities as it relates to conceptualizing and lensing integrated campaigns that fuse :30 spots with impossibly creative digital campaigns.”
Rued Anderson continues, “B-Reel has grown to be an innovative force and globally respected digital company with the highest creative and ethical standards. We will emulate and match that with B-Reel Films in the TV-commercial world. There’s also an unprecedented level of creative talent on the B-Reel Films directorial roster and there’s a feeling of momentum, as we scout to increase our talent base with forward-thinking directors – both in the States and internationally. It’s an exciting time to be here.”
