B-Reel Films’ Tom Malmros, one of the world’s most celebrated -- and arguably first -- interactive film directors, recently relocated from Sweden to Los Angeles for representation in North America. Starting with the multi award-winning Hotel 626, which snagged a Cannes Gold Lion, Tom has won over 40 awards for his innovative work. The move marks the next chapter of his career where he's looking forward to exploring new frontiers of the entertainment capitol of the world out of B-Reel Films' Los Angeles office.
 
As comfortable in classic commercials as he is in integrated storytelling, Tom recently completed a series of stylish 'dramedy' spots for Gillette on the heels of his widely acclaimed Like A Swede and D-Throned spots. He currently has several stories in development, which he hopes will challenge the boundaries of storytelling. Tom comments, “A story can be told in so many ways…it’s only the perception of conventional storytelling that’s holding us back.”
