axle ai, the leader in bringing artificial intelligence to video workflows, announces the availability of a new software module connecting its systems to Oracle’s Front Porch DIVArchive, the most broadly deployed archive platform today. The software provides archiving and restore capabilities directly to and from DIVArchive via axle ai’s radically simple browser interface. It also adds a new queue management user interface in the browser that allows users to manage archiving and restore jobs. The Front Porch DIVArchive integration is available immediately from axle and its resellers worldwide. Pricing of complete software packages, including the integration and axle ai software, starts around $10,000 US for MacOS and $15,000 for Linux (VM deployment). An interface module is also available for axle ai’s Hub appliance, priced at $7,995.
In addition to supporting existing DIVArchive sites, this integration facilitates two future migration scenarios: 1) from legacy MAM and DIVAdirector software to axle ai, and 2) from Front Porch DIVArchive to a next-generation Software Defined Archive (SDA) platform either on-premise or to the cloud. axle ai will be demonstrating the advanced solution in Hall 7 at the IBC conference in Amsterdam, stand 7.D33.
To help customers with future archive strategies, axle has partnered with CloudFirst.io, an innovative consulting and software development provider specialized in building next-generation SDA infrastructures (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), modernizing the tiering of enterprise media workflows, and assisting clients in efficient large-scale migration of media assets from legacy archive solutions.
Brian Campanotti, CEO of CloudFirst, notes that his company has worked extensively with legacy archive clients looking to analyze, shape, define and execute next-generation archive strategies regardless of current or future infrastructure choices. “We are delighted to work with axle.ai in helping these customers develop forward-looking archive strategies. We are assisting companies in migrating their valuable asset infrastructures to our next-generation SDA platform and reinventing access to assets by leveraging axle.ai’s powerful, ai-driven analysis tools,” he said. “When considering the future of valuable asset repositories, it is essential to select forward-thinking and responsive platforms to best comprehend, control, protect and access media assets.”
Sam Bogoch, CEO of axle ai, added, “Brian and his team are a phenomenal resource and have worked with many of the world’s top global broadcasters and media organizations. We look forward to teaming up with CloudFirst on meeting customers’ needs for analyzing, migrating, managing and modernizing their media repositories.”
