<a href="http://www.pixomondo.com.web/home/index.htm”>Pixomondo, with studios in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, London, Shanghai, Beijing and Santa Monica โ and with a Paris office opening soon – is launching a new commercial digital production company, called <a href="http://www.pixomondo.com.web/home/index.htm”>Public Art. <a href="http://www.pixomondo.com.web/home/index.htm”>Public Art is aimed to service the advertising community and features a collection of live action directors, designers, animators, visual effects artists and flash developers.
“<a href="http://www.pixomondo.com.web/home/index.htm”>Public Art is a new kind of Production Company, that includes the best of multiple disciplines. Our focus will lie at the intersection of live action, design-driven storytelling and innovative visual effects in traditional and new media. It’s something I’ve been thinking about doing for quite awhile now.”, says <a href="http://www.pixomondo.com.web/home/index.htm”>Public Art Executive Creative Director, Jonathan Keeton.
Keeton, whose legacy precedes him, is an award winning inferno artist and founder of west coast creative studio, Radium, known for its 13-year pedigree for high-end visual effects work. Keeton sold Radium in 2007 and left this year to pursue a new model in the ever-changing digital advertising world. Keeton teamed up with Thilo Kuther, founder and owner of <a href="http://www.pixomondo.com.web/home/index.htm”>Pixomondo, to help launch <a href="http://www.pixomondo.com.web/home/index.htm”>Public Art. They both have in common an enthusiastic entrepreneurial spirit.
Kuther explains,” The studio’s emphasis will be on concept and pitch exploration informed by the collaboration of filmmakers, designers and visual effects artists. We want to deliver a complete, unique vision every time we step into a room, and we want to be very smart about it. This includes not only working with our individual studio’s multidisciplinary talent but also having access to the entire international team.”
<a href="http://www.pixomondo.com.web/home/index.htm”>Pixomondo‘s feature effects division had many shots in the recently released movies “2012” and “Ninja Assassin”. Currently they are engaged on work for several features including “Suckerpunch”, “Percy Jackson and the Olympians The Lightning Thief”, “Hindenburg” and a number of other movies. <a href="http://www.pixomondo.com.web/home/index.htm”>Public Art just finished three commercials, one for the new Mercedes SLS, a commercial for the US Census with director Miles Goodall and a spot for BBDO Moscow with academy award winning VFX supervisor Mark Stetson, for Megafon.
