On the heels of writing the original theme song for Lisa Vanderpump’s new Hulu series Vanderpump Villa, Endless Noise, the award-winning music house, is launching a proprietary library for studios, companies and creators.
Available starting this week, the Endless Noise Collaborative Music Library is a flexible catalog featuring over 130 genres and counting, hand-curated by the studio’s creative directors. Endless Noise created the platform via a patented method of categorizing and splitting music by both mood and traditional genres that dynamically evolves with their client's real time feedback. Unlike many music libraries, each track within Endless Noise’s catalog is fully customizable and new, created no later than 2021.
In addition to Vanderpump Villa, the Endless Noise Collaborative Music Library can be heard in shows like Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Life Below Zero, 90 Day Fiancé, Australian Survivor, Australian Ninja Warrior and commercials for Nike, Volkswagen, Coca-Cola, Instacart, Inter Miami CF, YouTube General Mills and a variety of other media.
Production partner Ben Roberts stated: “One of our goals from the beginning has been that Endless Noise doesn’t have clients, it has collaborators. In our mission to honor the story that we are telling together, we have taken a new approach to the library model – Endless Noise and its collaborators build the library together. With that, our format is designed to be adaptive. Everybody loves it when something is perfect – we’re built to find every single version of perfect.
Co-creative director Dave Chapman added: “Writing the theme for Vanderpump Villa is a perfect example of how our library is designed for collaborative adaptation. While originally tasked to create a sweeping, dramatic orchestral theme, during the post process we were asked to experiment with a more modern electronic direction. We were quickly able to mold our orchestral melodies into synthesizers and create a modern pop adaptation of our original theme. Our flexible library design made it easy to experiment blending both the orchestral and pop elements. Ultimately we settled on a hybridized blend of the two genres, which became the final theme for the show.”
Currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, the company was founded by Grammy-Award winner Jeff Elmassian, a composer, songwriter and music producer. Endless Noise is a music and audio post production facility in Santa Monica with its own personal coffee and vinyl shop. All things sound – Endless Noise integrates music, sound-design, recording, mixing and a curated selection of vinyl all under one roof.
