AvatarLabs, one of Hollywood’s leading online marketing agencies, specializing in the creation of online rich media, sites and original branded digital content, has named Michelle Naden as Director of Strategic Initiatives. Rex Cook, the executive creative director and founder of AvatarLabs, made the announcement.
Cook said, “Michelle is a highly experienced, cross-media marketing executive, who has a proven and successful track record of more than 13 years in film development, entertainment marketing, digital advertising, strategic solutions, performance measurement, and media analysis. She is a terrific new asset to our company.”
In her new position, Naden will be responsible for enhancing AvatarLabs’ marketing and business development activities, based around the suite of marketing services the agency offers to its diverse clientele.
ABOUT MICHELLE NADEN
Prior to her new position with AvatarLabs, Michelle Naden was Account Director, Interactive Marketing, with LA-based Crew Creative since 2007. There, she helped conceive, pitch and execute digital marketing campaigns that involved websites, games, banners, widgets, social networking applications, mobile applications and editorial outreach. She was originally brought aboard as a key member of the account team servicing Discovery Networks.
From 2005-07, Naden was a sales executive at Pointroll, where she developed and maintained relationships with top-tier advertisers, creative agencies, media agencies, and publishers, gaining new clients and expanding existing business. Naden brought in and oversaw online rich media campaigns in film, DVD, music, television, and automotive categories.
Prior to Pointroll, Naden was Manager, Print Advertising, at Kaleidoscope Creative Group (03-05). In this post, she worked with the print team to create key art for theatrical, DVD, cable and syndication clients. Michelle worked in theatrical marketing at Paramount Pictures from 2000 – 2003, where she had the opportunity to work with the senior marketing and publicity team as well as top creative vendors to create key art for feature films.
Prior to her foray into marketing, Naden held various positions in film and TV development, at companies such as New Regency, Gracie Films, and Spelling Television. Her first job in Hollywood was as an assistant on a TV talent agent’s desk at the William Morris Agency.
Naden holds a B.S. Degree in Communications from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She also attended the Centro Lorenzo De Medici, in Florence, Italy, and briefly studied graphic design at UCLA.

In just 1 minute 16 seconds, this cinematic gem by Award-Winning Director Romina Schwedler, with original music by Argentine Composer Ignacio Montoya Carlotto, explores a cycle as old as time: life leads to progress, progress leads to destruction, and destruction, well, leads back to life. But is this vicious circle unbreakable? Ǝvolution suggests the answer is yes, unless we decide to open our eyes.
