“The joint-production will beneft both countries taking effort to proof to the world in producing high quality feature animations. We’d like to prove to the flm makers that Asians can really produce too”, said Honorable Senator Datin Paduka Datuk Nor Hayati binte Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Hj Onn, the Executive Chairman to Elite Animation. “We’ve had serious discussions held now to identify quality content that suits global screening.” Mr Mohamed Tiar Sharif, the MD-CEO of Elite Animation, believes that the collaborations among both entities will bring the movie to greater heights with the years of experience that IMAGIMAX has in CGI technique.
“MDeC is strongly behind us with a USD$1.5 Million (RM5 Million) funding”, said Mr Tiar. According to co-founder and Managing Director, Mr Saksiri Koshpasharin, from IMAGIMAX Studios, his forecast for the respond from animation lovers worldwide will be high ratings throughout. Many had laughed when IMAGIMAX Design & Animation Studios started with the Koshpasharin twins starting with 3 employees working from a tiny space at Saksiri’s home when they frst established in 1998. IMAGIMAX was strictly conceptualized as a computer aided design studio mainly for still graphics and architectural design. Today, the work force has grown tremendously to become one of the most reputable CG Animation Studios to stand head to head with other Giants.
