The Art Directors Club (www.adcglobal.org), the premier organization for creatives in integrated media and the first global creative collective of its kind, today announced it will provide content curation and expert commentary from leading creatives for the new YouTube Show & Tell brand channel, which launched today
YouTube serves as the platform for Show & Tell (http://www.youtube.com/ytshowandtell), the new gallery-style brand channel showcasing the best marketing examples on the site. Each quarter, ADC will curate a lively and interesting new body of work by promoting the entry process and assembling creative experts in advertising, design and interactive to review submissions.
This expert creative review team will choose the best work in four categories — brand channel, home page, viral and interactive — to appear on YouTube Show & Tell, and provide commentary on the featured content. All advertising and marketing work appearing on YouTube is eligible, and there is no charge to submit content for consideration.
“YouTube has done a great service to the industry by creating Show & Tell, providing a dynamic new platform for creatives to show off their best work,” said Doug Jaeger, ADC president. “ADC is the ideal fit for Show & Tell because we have 89 years of experience in gathering and reviewing work, and elevating the most creative ideas and best executions to a wider audience. Fundamentally, the goal of Show & Tell supports and extends the mission of the ADC: to connect people, provoke industry discussion, and elevate the best work that inspires creatives and clients to seek innovation.”
ADC will select a new team of Show & Tell creative reviewers each quarter based on their pioneering ideas, body of work and contributions to the industry. These experts will represent a range of creative thinking and execution, ensuring that the visual voice on Show & Tell represents a broad cross-section of leading-edge perspectives.
“The world-renowned creative directors, designers, art directors and copywriters we pick will bring both expertise and experience to Show & Tell,” said Jaeger. “While the reviewers will have different perspectives, they will all share a passion for creativity, craft and storytelling.”
