The Art Directors Club (ADC), the premier organization for creatives in integrated media and the first global creative collective of its kind, announced the winners of its inaugural Portfolio Night All-Stars competition, which is presented by Ford Motor Company in partnership with Adobe. The All-Stars will then have the remainder of the week to work on the assignment and prepare for the corresponding creative presentation. Morning progress checks will be paired with mentor sessions led by prominent members of the ADC creative community. These mentors include Benjamin Palmer, Cofounder and CEO of The Barbarian Group, and Rei Inamoto, Chief Creative Officer of AKQA, among others.nnThe All-Stars will present their creative concepts on the afternoon of August 9 at the ADC Gallery. Their work will be featured in a polished digital presentation for a panel including Ford representatives and the ADC’s Portfolio Night Global Team. Each presentation will be limited to ten minutes, followed by a five-minute Q&A. The results of the AICP National and Regional Board elections are in. On the AICP National Board, all four incumbents were re-elected to serve a two-year term. The three General Members Director At Large seats were won by Yvette Cobarrubias of Cosmo Street, Gloria Pitagorsky of Heard City and Frank Scherma of RadicalMedia. Margaret Capossela of NEED Financial was re-elected as an Associate Member Director At Large. At the year-end AICP National Board meeting, Tabitha Mason-Elliott of BARK BARK was re-elected Chairperson of the Board, while Sally Campbell was re-elected Vice Chairperson. On the East Board, Shelby Ross of Group Thrpy was elected to serve as President, while Lauren Hertzberg of Cut+Run was elected Vice President.
