Director/Producer Andrea Ambandos selected the newly expanded, Van Nuys, California based Avenue Six Studios for her Dragonfly Productions, Inc.’ “Turbo Fire” BEACHBODY DVD shoot. Noted workout guru and enthusiast Chalean (Chalene Johnson) toplines and stars in the energetic, workout production.
Lensed by Director of Photography, talented cinematographer Mark Richie, highly touted Art Director James Yarnell designed the look of the shoot for Ambandos. Yarnell’s credits include Production Designer and Art Director for American Idol as well as Production Designer for Dancing With the Stars, and America’s Got Talent. Lelli Zadeh is Assistant Director of Product Development for BEACHBODY while Matt Wenhiser is the production coordinator.

Bully Pictures recently wrapped their latest commercial spot at Avenue Six Studios. Producer Gary Kout alongside Production Supervisor Theresa Martinsons oversaw the Nissin Noodles shoot. The spot stars legendary film and television actor James Hong. On the advertising side, Director Leon Melas and Square One Entertainment have created magic in the kitchen for their latest Shamwow product, Slap Chop. Shamwow’s notorious frontman utilized Ave Six Studios’ east stage “Kitchen set” to create the proper mood for the company’s new infomercial.
Avenue Six continued on their 2009 health kick as Canadian production company, Kingstar Direct Response recently completed work on their new infomercial shoot at Los Angeles’ premiere studio facility, Avenue Six Studios. Production Manager Shawn Cheyene oversaw the action for a new fitness product, “Workout 180” with Director I-Li Chen and Set Decorator Susan Genito. Football and “Dancing With the Stars” Superstar Jerry Rice was tapped to topline the commercial shot over several days at the Avenue Six facility. Set Decorator Susan Genito noted, “We were so pleased with all of the amenities provided to us by the Avenue Six crew.”
