After an initial soft opening in 2007, when Director Jeremy Bartel joined charlieuniformtango and introduced the idea of the studio turning out turn-key projects for clients, Liberal Media Films has hit its stride – handling every aspect of a job from pre- to post-production.
Headed by Director Jeremy Bartel, The Liberal Media Films core group includes Director/Editor Justin Wilson, Creative Consultant/Editor Travis Aitken, and Sales and Production Coordinator Jessica Cramer.
After a series of spots for Mazda, Sweet & Sassy, and Red Bull among others, a short film “Smoke,” an award-winning documentary “One Nation,” and a documentary for Susan G. Komen that’s been three years in the making, Liberal Media Films is off and running.
“Our decision, three years ago, to bring Jeremy on board to lead our company into the production arena has proved to be a good one. Jeremy has a real gift for working with efx and talent. He has a real eye for casting. With his background in Internet content creation, Jeremy, along with the whole Liberal Media team, has become an ideal resource for less mainstream broadcast projects. Liberal Media, is well-suited to working with variable budgets for Internet uses and is a great fit for smaller TV budgets, too,” said Lola Lott.
Discussing the many talents the rest of the team brings, Lola adds, “They’re a great mix. Justin’s music background and storytelling abilities were invaluable in creating our award-winning documentary ‘One Nation.” Travis Aitken is a creative well, and Jessica Cramer’s attention to detail and love of production rounds out a perfect team. We’re now ready and able to take on any project from pre- to post-production, turn-key.”
