Alkemy X Director of TV and Digital Content Brittany George was among the honorees at Cablefax Magazine’s 2018 People to Watch Awards, recognizing “Overachievers Under 30” in the broadcast television industry. George was recognized for her contributions to Alkemy X’s Originals division, which produces original and branded content. She recently produced the 6-part documentary series The 212 for Fuse Media and is currently producing a project for TLC slated for delivery in 2019. The Cablefax People to Watch Awards were presented December 4th at the Yale Club in New York City.

George joined Alkemy X in 2016 and has helped to nurture its ties with networks and platforms including MTV, TLC, Discovery and Bravo. She was co-creator of The 212, and guided the series through development, production and launch, earlier this year, on Fuse. She previously was a development associate at Leftfield Entertainment, where she developed original content for Discovery, MTV, History, Animal Planet, Lifetime, Snapchat and Vevo, among others.
