ALIBI Music Library (“ALIBI”) and Full Sail University (“Full Sail”) are collaborating to bring students high-quality music and sound effects that will enrich their coursework throughout various programs within the university’s Visual Arts and Audio Arts Bachelor’s degrees. Beginning this month, the university will have access to the same extensive ALIBI catalogs that serve the film, TV, video games, streaming and advertising industries, thanks to the grant of a special educational license. The multi-year deal, which makes ALIBI one of the primary music library sponsors to Full Sail, includes the ALIBI Music, ALIBI FX and ALIBI Orange catalogs.
With over 11,000 tracks (plus alt mixes and stems), the ALIBI Music catalog has been used to promote such notable projects as blockbuster film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” HBO documentary “Lindsey Vonn: The Final Season” and top-selling video game “Apex Legends.” ALIBI Sound FX, with 6,000 tracks, was used in trailers for the highly anticipated “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” and recently released “Terminator: Dark Fate.” The ALIBI Orange catalog features tracks formatted especially for use in video games.
Full Sail students will be able to use ALIBI’s music and sound effects catalogs for their non-commercial school projects involving everything from film, social media, websites and mobile apps, to broadcasts, podcasts and more.
“We’ve all been students before and also understand the unique pressures inherent to the creative process. Music and sound can make or break a project, so having access to the highest quality tracks is a huge help,” said Jonathan Parks, Executive Producer & founder of ALIBI Music Library. “We’re excited to collaborate with Full Sail in bringing our catalogs to their students, many of whom will undoubtedly become our peers in the future.”
“Providing our students with industry standard tools has always been a part of our curriculum structure,” said Dana Roun, Director of Audio Programs at Full Sail University. “The inclusion of the ALIBI music library will be beneficial to our students as they expand their industry knowledge and refine their skill sets. We are excited to see the next wave of creative projects that come out of our Film and Audio degree programs utilizing ALIBI.”
