Continuing its longstanding support for independent film, Alchemy Post Sound provided Foley services for eight feature films debuting at next year’s Sundance Film Festival. They include five World Premieres screening in competition, two Premieres and a Documentary Premiere. The 2018 Sundance Film Festival runs January 18-28 in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort.

Alchemy Post Sound contributed to the following Sundance films:

I Think We're Alone Now (In Competition/World Premiere). Director Reed Morano’s apocalyptic story of a lucky recluse and a second survivor who arrives with the threat of companionship. (Cast: Peter Dinklage, Elle Fanning.)

The Miseducation of Cameron Post (In Competition/World Premiere). Director: Desiree Akhavan’s story of a girl who, after being caught having sex with the prom queen, is forced into a gay conversion therapy center. (Cast: Chloë Grace Moretz, Sasha Lane, Forrest Goodluck, John Gallagher Jr., Jennifer Ehle.)

Monsters and Men (In Competition/World Premiere).  Director and Screenwriter Reinaldo Marcus’s interwoven narrative explores the aftermath of a police killing of a black man. (Cast: John David Washington, Anthony Ramos, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Chanté Adams, Nicole Beharie, Rob Morgan.)

NANCY (In Competition/World Premiere). Director and screenwriter Christina Choe blurs the line between fact and fiction, in this tale of a woman who becomes increasingly convinced she was kidnapped as a child. (Cast: Andrea Riseborough, J. Smith-Cameron, Steve Buscemi, Ann Dowd, John Leguizamo.)

Wildlife (In Competition/World Premiere). Director: Paul Dano’s portrait of a family in crisis. (Cast: Carey Mulligan, Ed Oxenbould, Bill Camp, Jake Gyllenhaal.)

Damsel (Premiere). Directors and screenwriters David Zellner and Nathan Zellner weave a story of an affluent pioneer, who ventures across the American frontier to marry the love of his life. (Cast: Robert Pattinson, Mia Wasikowska, David Zellner, Robert Forster, Nathan Zellner, Joe Billingiere.)

Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot (Premiere). Director Gus Van Sant’s story of John Callahan, a man confined to a wheelchair, who finds beauty and comedy in the absurdity of human experience. (Cast: Joaquin Phoenix, Jonah Hill, Rooney Mara, Jack Black.)

Chef Flynn (Premiere). Director: Cameron Yates profiles a 10-year-old who transforms his living room into a supper club.
