Veteran Agency Music Producer Mary Ellen O’Brien has joined the team at Yessian as Executive Music Producer in their New York office. Mary Ellen honed her skills as Senior Music Producer at: Saatchi, Euro RSCG, Grey and most recently The Kaplan Thaler Group.
She officially joined the Yessian team on August 10th of which she says, “In my 20 years experience as an Agency Music Producer, I’ve been very fortunate to work with a lot of different music houses. In my opinion, Yessian raises the bar on the music house model. Not only do they compose exceptional original tracks but they also have an extensive library of great indie songs available to license. And somehow they manage to do all of this with a smile. I’m extremely excited to join the team and become a part of the innovative company that I’ve admired so much throughout the years.”
Yessian Executive Producer/Managing Director, Marlene Bartos says of O’Brien, “We are ecstatic to have Mary Ellen join our team. The amount of experience she’s had in our industry is invaluable and her aesthetic sensibilities are exceptional. Plus, she’s a genuinely nice person. We couldn’t have found a better match.”
Brian Yessian, Chief Creative Officer of Yessian, adds, “Mary Ellen brings an amazing musical skill set to the New York team. She will be an integral part of our east coast growth and expansion as music supervisor for all media forms. We are excited to dive in!”
