Already considered a leading creative force in the world of network branding and promotion, <a href="www.bigsmack.tv.“>BIGSMACK, the full service creative company, has added Chris Grenier to its growing talent pool. Grenier, who was most recently VP/Copy Supervisor at Campbell-Ewald, Warren, MI, joins <a href="www.bigsmack.tv.“>BIGSMACK as Creative Director, working alongside Creative Director Andy Hann and Executive Producers Heidi Erney and Kelly Dials.
Grenier comes to a diverse creative team that earlier this year welcomed Sr. Art Director Jason Salo and Sr. Visual Effects Director Dave Zeevalk; and the live action directors Manuel Miranda, Jeff Phillips and Scott Whitham.
For Hann, <a href="www.bigsmack.tv.“>BIGSMACK‘s diverse talent roster are reflective of both the mission of the company and what separates it from the creative herd.
“Chris is the final ingredient to round out our team,” Hann says. ”With his extensive writing and strategic thinking experience for large, national brands, <a href="www.bigsmack.tv.“>BIGSMACK is poised to become a game-changer in the network branding/promotion industry and beyond. There aren’t many companies that can offer the kind of top shelf conceptual creative work clients would expect from a ‘traditional’ agency, coupled with full service production and post capabilities, including live action, 3D/2D animation, graphic design, editing and audio post.”
A native of central New Jersey and graduate from Portfolio Center, Atlanta, GA, Grenier comes to <a href="www.bigsmack.tv.“>BIGSMACK following 10 years at agency Campbell-Ewald, Warren, MI where he worked on campaigns for Chevrolet, OnStar, the United States Postal Service, Kaiser-Permanente, Alltel Wireless, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and the National Fatherhood Initiative. Prior to that he spent 2 years at agency W.B. Doner, Southfield, MI, working on campaigns for Mazda, Blockbuster and Arby’s.
His Philly roots go back to agency Tierney & Partners where for three years he worked on campaigns for Bell Atlantic, the Pennsylvania Lottery, Philadelphia Tourism, Commerce Bank and PECO Energy. Grenier began his career at Ogilvy & Mather, Atlanta, GA, working on the American Express, Zoo Atlanta and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control accounts.
”I’ve spent most of my career working within the large corporate agency structure and over the years I’ve been looking for the right opportunity to change gears and bring my skills to a smaller agency with more of an entrepreneurial approach,” Grenier says. ”I met Andy and began doing some freelance assignments and quickly discovered we shared a creative sensibility and philosophy. What I love about <a href="www.bigsmack.tv.“>BIGSMACK is every day brings something new โ some days may be about creating concepts; others may be about executing those ideas either in production or post. You’re never sure which on any given day, and that’s exciting.”
