Founder Jesse Dylan announced that Adria Petty has joined the collective of noted directors at Los Angeles-based Wondros. Petty joins Wondros at a very active time and is best known for her versatile story telling skills steeped in pop culture, iconography and creativity. She is well known for her work in commercials and music videos with a long list of credits including projects for such historic brands as: Lancรดme, Alexander McQueen, Target, Converse, Hershey’s and McDonald’s. She has directed over 50 music videos for top artists such as: Beyoncรฉ, Coldplay, Rihanna and Regina Spektor. She has also garnered numerous MTV Music Video Award nominations and took home the MTV Moonman for best editing for Beyoncรฉ’s ‘Countdown’ in 2012.
“We could not be happier to have Adria join the Wondros family. Her work in beauty and fashion delves deeply into a celebration on screen; she has a unique way of melding music, design and the arts with an eye towards classic cinema,” stated Wondros’ Chief Creative Officer Anne-Marie Mackay.

Petty is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College in New York and she also attended The Tisch School of the Arts as a graduate student. She cut her teeth in New York Film production with award winning directors Jonathan Demme and Penny Marshall. In 2008 she directed her first feature film, ‘Paris, Not France’, the controversial documentary about Paris Hilton and the culture of celebrity. Her second film produced in 2010, was a concert feature titled, ‘Regina Spektor: Live in London’.
