The 17th Annual Art Directors Guild Excellence in Production Design Awards honoring production design in nine categories of theatrical motion pictures, television, commercials and music videos will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, it was jointly announced today by ADG President Thomas Walsh and Awards Producer Greg Grande.
The entry and voting timeline for the event is:
• Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 – Submissions for television programs and commercials open via online downloading (www.adg.org)
• Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 – Submissions for television programs and commercials close.
• Tuesday, December 18, 2012 – Online voting for nominations for Feature Film, Television begins.
• Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 5 PM – Online voting for nominations for Feature Film, Television closes.
• Thursday, January 3, 2013 – Nominations announced.
• Friday, January 4, 2013 – Final ballot on-line voting begins.
• Thursday, January 31, 2013 – Final ballot on-line voting ends.
• Saturday, February 2, 2013 – Winners announced
Motion picture entries for 2012 are determined by the list published by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
Honorees for Lifetime Achievement, Cinematic Imagery and three new inductees into the Guild’s Hall of Fame will be announced after Labor Day.
ADG Awards are open only to productions, when made within the U.S., by producers signatory to the IATSE agreement. Foreign entries are acceptable without restrictions.
