Renowned actor Ving Rhames has been signed to co-star alongside Luke Goss in the new action film "Blood Reef." Foreign sales of the new film are being handled during AFM 2014 by Cardinal XD (Loews Hotel, Room 543.) See:
"Blood Reef" is a new science-fiction, action/adventure film being co-produced by Cardinal XD and Brigitte Jean Allen; AKA The Creative Producer and head of Aristos Australia. The film will be shot in Australia during early 2015.  
The storyline for "Blood Reef" is as follows: A former black ops soldier, Marcus (Luke Goss,) is kidnapped by a corrupt intelligence agency looking to create the ultimate killing machine. Before the terrible transformation is complete, however, he fights back and escapes to a shark-infested island on the tropical Great Barrier Reef. The chase is on: Marcus is hunted down by the world's top mercenaries, headed by the deadly Steele (Rhames,) and soon encounters a beautiful scientist who could help him find sanity...  if she doesn't become his next target first. 
"Blood Reef" is being directed by Brian Trenchard Smith. Australian native Brigitte Jean Allen is the new film's writer & producer. Executive producers are Dale Bradley and Grant Bradley of Aristos Films, and Cardinal XD's Jeff Goldman. 
Ving Rhames is a character actor best known for his work in the films "Bringing Out the Dead," "Pulp Fiction," "Out of Sight," "Baby Boy," "Don King: Only in America," "Dawn of the Dead," "Rosewood," "Con Air," and the extremely successful and popular "Mission: Impossible" film series starring Tom Cruise.
Luke Goss is an English singer and actor who has appeared in numerous films. These include: "Blade II" (2002) as Jared Nomak, "One Night with the King" (2006) as King Xerxes, "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" (2008) as Prince Nuada, "Tekken" (2010) as Steve Fox, and "Interview with a Hitman" (2012) as Viktor.
Famously described as one of Quentin Tarantino's favorite directors, "Blood Reef" sees Director Brian Trenchard Smith working with one of "Pulp Fiction's" most memorable stars, Ving Rhames. Trenchard Smith's previous credits include "Drive Hard," "Absolute Deception," and "Arctic Blast." Writer/Producer Brigitte Jean Allen's writing credits have included "Drive Hard,"  "Bad Karma", "The Camel Rider," and the upcoming "Kane." She will also executive produce the 2015 project "The Viking Wars", directed by "Spartacus'" Michael Hurst, and now in casting.
