615 Music has signed the U.K.-based “In-spired” production music catalog. Randy Wachtler, 615 Music President and CEO, made the announcement.
The “In-spired” catalog is comprised of 16 virtual CDs, with new music being released quarterly. The catalog will be available both online, and via hard drive, beginning January 15, 2010.
Regarding the signing, Mr. Wachtler said, “Tim Geraghty of ‘In-spired’ has done a wonderful job creating a catalog that is unique, high quality, and perfect for incorporation into feature films and trailers, and television programs and promos. We look forward to serving as the exclusive representative of the ‘In-spired’ catalog within the U.S. and Canada.”
Tim Geraghty, founder of the “In-spired” catalog, said, “I’m really excited about this new collaboration. As a forward thinking, independent music publisher, 615 Music is the perfect match for ‘In-spired.’ I’m confident of significant growth, as Randy and his team at 615 spread both our music, as well as our philosophy–‘Stimulating, Not Imitating’—stateside.”
Dennis Dunn, Senior Sales Advisor to 615 Music, adds, “For more than a decade with BMG, Tim Geraghty played a key role in creating the music in the wildly popular ‘Atmosphere’ music library. With the creation of the ‘In-spired’ music catalog, Tim has raised his game, and continues to deliver the type of music that the North American marketplace craves. His work, and that of his composer partners, is absolutely world-class. I am so pleased to have the opportunity to work with Tim and his team, once again."

A&G’s New Third Space Studios Fills A Community Gap
A&G's (Allen & Gerritsen) new Third Space Studios is not just a full-service production offering for the creative agency. It's filling a gap in the community by making a complete video and production facility (live-action studio, production extension, editorial & motion, and audio services for podcasting, voice-over and online audio) available to all. Larger organizations like Blue Cross Blue Shield Massachusetts and Meet Boston, individuals like creators and collaborators, and nonprofits like the Boston Symphony Orchestra and The Wonderfund are already accessing both the space and the affordable creative and production support that comes with it. The Wonderfund has even tapped the studio for an entire brand relaunch. The studio is an extension of A&G’s Third Space, a new concept the agency opened in Boston and Philadelphia last year to give employees, clients, creators, and even startup incubators (Boston currently has two) a place to gather, dream, and innovate in comfortable surroundings. Located inside its Boston location (125 High Street), Third Space Studios is available to the Tishman Speyer building’s tenants who can use its ZO building app to request studio services ranging from studio rentals to co-creation to full-service production. Other businesses nationwide can request services through the studio website. Albolene, Certain Dri, and ThermaCare are examples of national clients that have utilized... Read More
