In her new post, Walker will help extend the 615 Music brand name and presence into the West Coast/Hollywood marketplace, as well as the rest of the U.S. She will seek new music placements from the company’s extensive library—as well as possible original music composition placements– into feature films, trailers, TV programs, TV promos, videogames and TV commercial projects.
Mr. Wachtler said, “Shelly has over 10 years of sales experience in the production music industry. She is a specialist in music licensing and contract negotiations, and has the extensive entertainment industry relationships which will help 615 Music grow further into the Hollywood community and beyond.”
ABOUT SHELLY WALKER:
Before joining 615 Music, Shelly Walker was Division Manager of Broadcast Network and Affiliate Licensing with Megatrax Production Music Library, N. Hollywood, CA, from 2002. There, she managed a client base of over 300 active accounts, covered a national sales territory with concentration on television networks and broadcast affiliates, presented group and large volume use proposals to broadcast affiliates, TV networks and production companies. She also negotiated fees and annual contract terms for licensing in TV programs, promos and commercials, and acted as a company representative during numerous industry trade shows.
Earlier, Walker was an Account Executive (2001-2002,) with Opus One Production Music Library, Studio City, CA. There, she expanded the company’s contact database and developed new business in various markets, contributed significantly to the company’s annual revenue growth through new business sales, negotiated fees for annual license agreements and laser-drop uses, and attended industry trade shows.
From 1998-2001, Walker was Director of Music Licensing with TunEdge Music Library, Universal City, CA. During this time, she managed all sales and distribution operations including contract negotiation and administration, music searches, catalog categorization, and demo and update duplication.

Asian World Film Festival Announces Dates, Opening and Closing Films, Special Programs, and Gala Awards Ceremony
The Asian World Film Festival (AWFF), Los Angeles' annual celebration of Asian filmmakers, announced the dates and highlights of its highly anticipated 10th anniversary edition. Taking place November 13-21, 2024, the festival will showcase a diverse range of new movies and special programs and celebrate Asian cinema’s legacy.
