Finalist Projects for National Geographic, NBC Sports and CNN
Capping another recognition-filled year, 2C Creative (“2C”) has earned a spot on the 2018 Clio Entertainment Awards shortlist with four nominations. The Miami-based creative agency’s finalist projects represent its array of work for such clients as National Geographic, NBC Sports and CNN. Watch all nominated clips here.
“To have the privilege of working on such exceptional projects as these is inspiring to any creative team,” said Chris Sloan, founder and Chief Creative Officer of 2C Creative. “And to be recognized by Clio Entertainment for the effort is humbling. We thank our clients for trusting us as collaborators, and we look forward to hopefully turning nominations into wins next month.”
Clio Entertainment, formerly The Clio Key Art Awards, is the original and definitive distinction in creative communications for the entertainment business. Born in 1971 to celebrate the best in film marketing, the awards program became a Clios property in 2015, and with partner The Hollywood Reporter continues expanding its reach — across movies, TV and gaming. It reflects a field that through advances in technology and integration of new specialties, routinely recasts the notion of excellence in entertainment marketing. Hosted by comedian/director/actor Alfonso Ribeiro, this year’s awards ceremony takes place Thursday, November 15, in Los Angeles.
Nominated for a third consecutive year, 2C Creative has earned previous Silver and Bronze Clio Entertainment Awards for its work on History Channel’s “This Is” Anthem image spot and Spike TV’s “Ink Master” launch trailer, respectively. Among the agency’s projects submitted this time are the Golden Trailer Award-winning trailer for National Geographic’s “One Strange Rock,” as well as a trailer for NBC Sports Championship Season and campaign for CNN’s “1968.”
