The Television Academy today announced that 21st Century Fox, Netflix, Time Warner│HBO│Turner│WB and The Walt Disney Company and its family of networks including ABC and ESPN have signed on as Founding Sponsors of the Academy's $40 million New Destination Campaign. Thanks to generous support from each of these companies, the Saban Media Center at the organization's reimagined North Hollywood campus is nearing completion. The new campus will be unveiled at the Television Academy's milestone 70th Anniversary celebrity gala on Thursday, June 2.

More than just a fundraising initiative, the Television Academy's New Destination Campaign represents a commitment to shaping the future of television through thought leadership, community building and the educational programs of the Television Academy Foundation. The Founding Sponsors have paved the way for other like-minded companies and individuals to support the mission of the Academy's Foundation.

The full list of Founding Sponsors announced includes Creative Artists Agency, Entertainment Partners, EY, Grass Valley - A Belden Brand, Lucy Hood and Rob Biniaz, ICM Partners, LG Electronics USA, Ryan Murphy and David Miller, Jonathan Murray and Mary-Ellis Bunim, NEP Group, Inc., PRG, Richard T. "Dick" Robertson, Bruce and Ande Rosenblum, United Talent Agency and WME.

These industry trailblazers and philanthropic leaders join previously announced Founding Sponsors Haim and Cheryl Saban and The Saban Family Foundation for whom the Saban Media Center was named; Dick and Noelle Wolf and their Wolf Family Foundation for whom the Wolf Theatre was named; and Dolby Laboratories, Audio Video Sponsor of the Wolf Theatre. Their generosity has been key to the success of the on-going New Destination Campaign.

"We are immensely grateful to our Founding Sponsors for their generous gifts and their dedication to the educational and cultural mission of the Academy Foundation," said Television Academy Chairman and CEO Bruce Rosenblum. "These valued partnerships will help to support a premier destination for our members, industry partners and the public, and position our new state-of-the art campus as a showplace of advanced entertainment technology."

As the Academy prepares to unveil this major campus expansion, including its high-tech theatre, conference center, production and editing rooms, and a suite of offices for its Foundation, the New Destination Campaign continues fundraising to build an endowment for the Television Academy Foundation. This Endowment will support expanded educational programs and outreach for Television's next generation of leaders.
